The mission of the Olivet Lutheran Church Library is:

The Olivet Library is a self-check-out lending library with over 3,000 books for all age groups. The Library provides resources for both spiritual growth as well as current fiction and non-fiction.

Hours and Location

The library is located just south of the Narthex on the main floor and is available on Sundays and Wednesdays. A library worker is available to assist you on Wednesday evenings during the school year and Sunday mornings. The library is also used for meetings and gatherings, so please call the church office at 701-235-6603 to check on availability.

Checkout Procedure

When the Librarian is available:
Materials may be checked out at the library desk.

When No Librarian is available:

  1. Print the first and last name on the card found on the back of the book.
  2. Stamp the due date on the card and on a sheet in the back of the book (3 weeks).
  3. Leave the card in the basket.

All materials may be checked out for 3 weeks. To renew an item: please e-mail the library at librarian@olivet.org or leave a note at the library desk, or call the office at 235-6603.

HOW TO SEARCH FOR MATERIALS

Patrons may access our catalog via the Internet using the link below. If you wish to make a list of items to check out, you must log in using your library card number and password, and add titles to "My list".

DONATIONS WELCOME

Monetary gifts in honor or in memory of loved ones may be designated to the Olivet library and gently used books are welcome.
