We provide Sunday night activities, social activities, retreats, youth gatherings,
service in the community, choir and both adventure and mission trips. We also
have Confirmation classes Wednesday nights during the 7th-10th grade years, and
Sunday School for 7th-9th graders.

YOUTH RALLY NIGHT - September 6th
EyeWitness Family Outdoor Concert Saturday, September 6th from 6:00-7:00pm, @ Olivet outdoor stage. Come for some fun camp-rock style music. Free admission, open to all. Stay for inflatable games which will be open to kids/families grades 5 and under from 7:00-8:00pm, must be accompanied by parent/guardian. Families with youth in grades 6-8 see below…
Middle School Youth Rally Grades 6-8, Saturday, Sept. 6th from 6:00-11:00pm, Olivet Lutheran Church. Come for an Eyewitness concert (Olivet outdoor stage), Games Galore inflatable games, good food, friends, and more! Nachos, pizza, pop, and more will be available at the concession stand. Please bring a friend!

7th-9th Grade Sunday School/The Well

Registration: You will register for BOTH Confirmation AND Sunday School at our Family Faith Night on Wednesday, September 3rd.
Once again, we gear up for the school year—and the beginning of our Confirmation and Sunday School year! Sunday School at Olivet goes until 9th grade. As a part of your Confirmation process, you are expected to attend at least 12 sessions of Sunday School. The 9th graders will attend “The Well” and meet in the chapel the 2nd Sunday of the month and at Village Inn the 4th Sunday of the month. (The Well takes the place of 9th grade ‘Sunday school’.) $50 Deposit Due Sunday September 7th. Total cost $125.
We’ll be heading to the Castaway Club (Detroit Lakes, MN) for an awesome weekend of faith, fun, friends, and more! The weekend’s theme is “LOST.” We’ll explore our world and human characteristics that cause us to be lost, and God’s unconditional love for every one of us that makes us FOUND. The camp offers Frisbee golf, a climbing wall, two 50 person giant hot tubs, game room, indoor gym, and more! HOMELESS AND HUNGRY EVENT
October 3-5, 2008
Does sleeping in a cardboard box outside in October overnight sound interesting? Does fasting for 30 hours and raising $365 to raise money for homeless charities sound like something you could do???? This October, Olivet will be a host site for the Homeless and Hungry event. Homeless and Hungry (H&H) will be a city-wide movement during the October 3-5 weekend. There will be service opportunities, a concert by a nationally known Christian band, a nationally known youth speaker, and the chance for you to sleep outside for the night in a cardboard box on the church lawn. REGISTRATION FOR FALL 2008:
7th-10th Grade Confirmation and 7th-9th Grade Sunday School
Confirmation begins September 3rd! Registration for Olivet’s 7th-10th grade Confirmation program and 7th-9th grade Sunday School will also occur on that first night of Confirmation. Parents AND students should plan on attending together from 6:30-8:00pm. We will meet in the sanctuary on that night. Wednesday, September 10th will be a Family Faith Night, so parents should come to Confirmation with their student on that night as well. Sunday School begins on Sunday, September 7th at 9:45am.
