At Olivet, our mission is simple yet profound: to tell the story of Jesus’ love for all people without exception. Everything we do as a church family—worship, music, caring for one another, serving our neighbors—flows from that mission.

Each fall, as members of Olivet, we recommit to this calling by pledging our financial support for the upcoming year. Your pledge is not just a promise of a financial gift; it is an act of faith, a sign that we walk together in God’s work.

In 2025, 243 of our 700+ active households made a financial pledge. This year, we hope for more households to join in. Full participation from our congregation will allow us to respond boldly to God’s call and extend the reach of Christ’s love. Every household matters, and every pledge makes a difference.

As we embark on our 2026 stewardship campaign, we invite you to review the information in this mailer and prayerfully consider your participation in our shared mission.

Thank you for being part of God’s work through Olivet.

The remaining 6% of our income comes from activity-based sources such as registration, Wednesday meals, trips, etc. Pledged gifts and offerings provide the resources that fuel our general ministry.

why pledge (1)

Pledging helps us plan with confidence.

Your commitment allows church leaders to create an accurate budget that supports ministries, staff, missions, and outreach. While 94% of our mission play is funded by donations and offerings, pledged income only makes up 57% of our income. Pledges reduce uncertainty, allow us to better steward our resources, avoid last-minute appeals, and ensure ministry continues strong throughout the year.

Pledging is a spiritual practice.

Making a pledge is an act of faith that reflects gratitude and trust in God’s provision while connecting us to each other in common mission.

Pledging strengthens our community.

Fulfilling a financial pledge supports programs that nurture faith, offer fellowship, and care for those in need—inside and outside our walls.

Every pledge makes a difference.

No matter the size, your commitment matters and directly supports the life and mission of our church. Last year, 34.5% of our active member households made a pledge—imagine the impact if even more of us joined in!
