MEDITATION ON MONDAYS
Every Monday from noon-1pm, you are invited to join in a time of silent prayer. This time is meant to create space as we listen for God’s will in our lives individually and collectively. The calm invites us into deeper awareness of how God’s presence is constant. Come to the chapel on Mondays and feel free to bring a friend.

MEN’S MORNING MUSINGS
On the 2nd and 4th Saturday mornings at 8:00am the men of Olivet are invited to gather for a light breakfast, a bit of scripture, discussions about life and a time of prayer. Begins Saturday, October 11th and 25th. For more information, please contact Pastor Bill at 235-6603.

TORNADO HITS ROLLA AND BELCOURT
As you may have seen in the news, the communities of Rolla and Belcourt have both been impacted by a tornado that struck on Monday, July 7th. Lutheran Disaster Response, a program of Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota, is responding to the needs of the people whose lives have been impacted by the tornado. Several homes were destroyed and many others sustained significant damages.  While these small rural communities have drawn together, they still need our help and support.   Many of those affected have little or no insurance. Immediate needs are PRAYERS and FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS to assist those affected.  Checks should be made out to “Lutheran Disaster Response” and sent to Lutheran Disaster Response/LSS of North Dakota, P.O. Box 389, Fargo, ND  58107.  Contributions will be used to support recovery efforts. Your donation will be a blessing to those in need – what a wonderful opportunity to show compassion to those in your community and state! Lutheran Disaster Response (LDR) is a collaborative ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS).  On their behalf, LDR responds to disaster to deliver services to survivors and the impacted community throughout all stages of disaster response.
